How to set up a persistent command within NDM
The steps below will take you through setting up and using a persistent command within NDM. The benefit of using a persistent command is that all new panels added to that group will have the command applied to it. This is a one time event that will happen to all panels added to this group.
- In order for a persistent command to be applied, a prerequisite is creating or having a group to apply the command to.
- To apply a command to a group, please follow the steps in this article.
- Once your group command has been applied, click the Command Log (shield icon with the check mark, visible from your dashboard)
- Find the command that was applied to the group, signified by a blue or purple shield with a check mark, as seen below.

- Click the Actions (three dots) button associated with this command, then apply the Persist command

- This will change the filled-out shield icon to a green shield to signify that the command is now persistent.

- After applying persistence, this will automate this command to run on all new panels added to the group.
