How to set up a persistent command within NDM

The steps below will take you through setting up and using a persistent command within NDM. The benefit of using a persistent command is that all new panels added to that group will have the command applied to it. This is a one time event that will happen to all panels added to this group.

  1. In order for a persistent command to be applied, a prerequisite is creating or having a group to apply the command to.
  2. To apply a command to a group, please follow the steps in this article.
  3. Once your group command has been applied, click the Command Log  (shield icon with the check mark, visible from your dashboard)
  4. Find the command that was applied to the group, signified by a blue or purple shield with a check mark, as seen below.

  5. Click the Actions (three dots) button associated with this command, then apply the Persist command

  6. This will change the filled-out shield icon to a green shield to signify that the command is now persistent.

  7. After applying persistence, this will automate this command to run on all new panels added to the group.
