Q Pro - How To Set a Static IP Address


This article will navigate you on how to set up a static IP address on the Q Pro series both through a wireless and wired connection.



 

  1. 1. Open up the settings menu through the settings app. 


  



  1. 2. Select “Network & internet” and then choose the “Internet” option. 


 

 

 

 

  1. 3. If you’re connected wirelessly then select your SSID (Wi-Fi name). If you’re using a wired connection,     skip to step 7. 


 


 

  1. 4. Select the Pencil icon on the top right to edit your network and select “Advanced options”.  

 

  1. 5. In the advanced options, select “IP settings” and set it to Static.  

 

  1. 6. Then tap to edit the IP address information and select “Save” to confirm the settings. 


 

  1. 7. If you have a wired (Ethernet) connection select the “Ethernet” option.  


 

 

  1. 8. Scroll down and select the “Ethernet config” option. 


  1. 9. Set the IP address to “static”. 


 


 

  1. 10. Then edit the IP address information as needed and select the “Connect” button.
