For models ending in QA, QPro, or ZPro, the Over-the-Air (OTA) update function can be used to update the firmware. An internet connection to the panel is required for this feature to work. These updates are incremental, so you may need to install several updates to fully update the panel.


If the panel prompts for additional firmware updates after completing one, we recommend submitting a ticket to obtain the latest firmware update files and steps. These updates can also be applied using a USB flash drive.

How to Access the Over-the-Air Update Function:

  1. On the homepage of the panel, tap the Settings application.

    • If you cannot find this application, swipe down from the top of the screen to open the Quick Settings menu.
    • From there, select the Settings icon at the bottom of the screen.
  2. In the Settings menu, scroll down the left side and tap System.

  3. On the System page, scroll down and tap Advanced.

  4. Enter the admin code found in your physical user manual, then press Enter.

  5. Tap System Update.

  6. Tap Over-the-Air Update Method.


If the panel is connected to the internet, and is not on the latest version, then you should receive a pop-up notification to update your display. You can confirm this prompt to move forward with the update process.

How to check your displays currently installed firmware version:

  • On the homepage of the panel, tap the Settings application.
    • If you cannot find this application, swipe down from the top of the screen to open the Quick Settings menu.
    • From there, select the Settings icon located at the bottom of the screen.
  • In the Settings menu, scroll down the left side and tap About Tablet.
  • On the main About Tablet page, scroll down and find Firmware Version.
  • What are the four numbers following the "V"? (e.g., v1.0.75)
