Firmware updates are periodically available for TruTouch panels. The required files and steps vary depending on the model. For the best assistance with updating your TruTouch panel, please submit a ticket via our portal at: Submit a ticket : Newline Technical Services (freshdesk.com)
- Model of each TruTouch panel
- Serial number from at least one of each different TruTouch panel model
- Current firmware version from at least one of each different TruTouch panel model
For models ending in 19/21NT, the System update function can be used to update the firmware. An internet connection to the panel is required for this feature to work. These updates are incremental and several may need to be installed to fully update the panel. If the panel prompts for additional firmware updates after installing one update, we recommend submitting a ticket to obtain the latest firmware update files and steps. These updates can be applied by utilizing a USB flash drive.
The System update function can be found here:
- Power on the panel. Press the Menu button on the remote.
- Select Setting.
- Select System update.
For models ending in 23NT, the System update function can be used to update the firmware. An internet connection to the panel is required for this feature to work. If the panel prompts for additional firmware updates after installing one update, we recommend submitting a ticket to obtain the latest firmware update files and steps. These updates can be applied by utilizing a USB flash drive.

- Select System update
How to check the current firmware version, depending on the model of the panel:
19/21NT:
- Power on the panel. Press the Menu button on the remote.
- Select Setting.
- Scroll to the next page of options and select About.
- Under the Firmware version, check for the three numbers after V
- On the homepage, press the Menu button on the remote and select the Settings tab
- Then select "Other Settings"
- In the Other Settings menu, select "About" near the bottom
- Under Firmware Version, check for the three numbers after V
