Q Pro Series - How to Use the Screen Record Feature


This article will help you utilize the screen record feature on the Q Pro Series panels, including how to share the video to your Google Drive.

Please follow the guide below to utilize the Screen Record feature: 


  1. Navigate to the window you want the recording to start on.

  2. From the top center of the screen, swipe down to show the Quick Settings menu.

  3. Locate the "Screen Record" option and press it.
    • You may need to swipe to the left to navigate to the second page of quick settings.


  4. A message will prompt you to decide if you want to include audio in the recording, and/or if you want to show touches on the screen.

  5. Then, click start. After you've clicked start, you'll be able to record what you need to.

  6. When you're ready to stop the recording, swipe down from the top center of the screen again and stop the screen recording.

  7. This will automatically save to your panel's storage, accessible in 'Files', as well as Google Files & Photos. 

  8. Once it has stopped & saved, you will have an option to "Share" the file, an example being sharing it to your Google Drive. 

  9. If/when you click share, the panel will redirect you to the home screen of the panel and present the available destinations.

  10. Then, it will let you choose where to save it within your Google Drive.

If you open the recording through the Google Photos app, you're able to edit the video many different ways:

  • Aspect Ratios
  • Rotation
  • Color Adjustment
  • Crop/Adjust Length
  • Markings
    • Pen
    • Highlighter
    • Text
