Q and Z Series - How to Set a Static IP Address for a Wireless Connection
- Press the "Settings" cog in the top right corner of your home screen.
- Select Network, then Wi-Fi.
- Press and hold the wireless network name or SSID you want to set a static IP address for in the list, then choose Forget.
- Tap the same SSID from step 3, then tap Advanced options.
- Enter the password for the network, then tap the "DHCP" option below IP settings.
- Tap the Static option.
- Enter the static network information, then tap connect at the bottom. Below is an example and your network settings will vary.
- If necessary, verify the IP address is connect and the connection is successful by tapping on the network name for the connected network.
