Q and Z Series - How to Set a Static IP Address for a Wireless Connection


  1. Press the "Settings" cog in the top right corner of your home screen.
  2. Select Network, then Wi-Fi.
  3. Press and hold the wireless network name or SSID you want to set a static IP address for in the list, then choose Forget.
  4. Tap the same SSID from step 3, then tap Advanced options.
  5. Enter the password for the network, then tap the "DHCP" option below IP settings.
  6. Tap the Static option.
  7. Enter the static network information, then tap connect at the bottom. Below is an example and your network settings will vary.
  8. If necessary, verify the IP address is connect and the connection is successful by tapping on the network name for the connected network.
