Newline Cast - Difference Between 6 or 10 Digit Code


When connecting using a 6-digit session ID, users can connect from anywhere since it's connecting through the cloud server. The panel and the connecting devices does not need to be on the same network. 


A 10-digit session ID requires the panel and the connecting device to be on the same network. It bypasses the cloud server and only allows connections to be made locally.
