STV+ - How to Manually Install APK Files
This article will explain the steps to follow to successfully install an APK on the STV+ Series. Due to the wide array of apps available, your experience may vary.

- Insert the USB Drive:
- A message will pop up saying 'USB Device Connected' at the bottom-center of the screen.

- Open File Commander:
- From the home screen of the STV+, navigate to File Commander.
- You may need to bypass the notification 'New items available!' by using the remote in 'Mouse Mode'.
- Select USB Drive:
- In the File Management menu, select USB Disk, below 'Internal storage'.

- Locate the APK File:
- Scroll down past the folders that auto-populate and find the APK file on the USB drive and select it.

- Confirm the Installation:
- Follow the prompts to confirm and begin the installation.
- If this is the first time, you'll need to allow File Commander to install apps.
- Select 'Settings'
- Navigate down to File Commander and select it to toggle it 'ON'.
- Finish Installation:
- Once the installation is complete, select either Done or Open.
- If you select Done, you can find the installed app later.
Finding the Installed App:
Once the APK is installed, you can locate the app in the Applications section of the STV+. This can be accessed from the homepage of the STV+.
