NDM – How To Create a Block List (Block Apps)

This article will help you create a block list within the Newline Display Management portal. A block list will allow you to block apps on your Newline display and preventing users from being able to use the blocked apps.

  1. In the Devices list, select all the devices you wish to add a block list to.
  2. Once selected, click on the blue Bulk Actions button.
  3. Hover on Configure and select Block Lists.
  4. Then select the Add New option on the bottom left corner (select Android if prompted).
  5. Create a name for the new block list.
  6. Then turn on the Block List toggle.
  7. In the search bar, search any apps you wish to block.
  8. To block the app, select the plus icon next to the app to it into the blocked window.
  9. To unblock the app, select the trash can icon next to the app to move it back into the unblocked window.
  10. Select Confirm on the bottom right corner once your list is done.
  11. Then click on the newly created policy and select Apply on the bottom right corner to send it to the previously selected devices.
