How to Enable Touch Keyboard on Windows 11
Please see the steps below to assist with enabling the touch keyboard in Windows 11.
This will allow you to have an icon for the touch keyboard on the taskbar to easily open it at any time.
- Select 'Start' and navigate into the 'Settings'. (You may need to search 'Settings' if you do not have it pinned)
- Then, navigate into 'Personalization' -> 'Taskbar'.
- Next to 'Touch Keyboard', select when you want the icon to show in the taskbar notification area ('Always', 'Never', or 'When no keyboard attached'). We recommend 'Always'.
- Then, you'll now be able to see the keyboard icon in the bottom right of your screen/Taskbar where you can enable it at any point you'd like!
If this does not seem to follow the settings your PC has, you may have Windows 10. Please see this article to enable the keyboard there: How to Enable Touch Keyboard on Windows 10
