OPS - No Touch on OPS Source

This article provides troubleshooting methods to resolve the OPS source having no touch. 


A) Restart the panel and the computer. 

B) Remove the OPS from the panel and reinsert it into the panel.

C) Reinstall the OPS drivers - Drivers.

D) Reinstall the HID Drivers on the OPS
    1. Access the Device manager on the computer.
    2. Double click on Human Interface Devices to expand it.

    3. Search for HID-compliant touch screen, HID-compliant consumer control device, and HID-compliant vendor defined devices.

    4. Right click on those devices and then click Uninstall.

    5. After uninstallation, click the Action tab and then select Scan for hardware changes to reinstall the drivers.

E)  If available, swap OPS with a known good functioning unit. If the issue doesn’t occur, test the faulty OPS on a known good functioning panel. 

F) Perform a factory reset on the panel. 


Helpful tips:


  • If the OPS is the issue, Windows can be reinstalled.
  • When creating a support ticket, please provide the serial number of the OPS. This can be found on a sticker on the physical unit of the OPS.
