NDM - How to Schedule Firmware Updates 

This article will help you schedule firmware updates for your panels via the Scheduler and Triggers command. There are a couple different ways of achieving this, and this is one of them.

  1. In your console select the panels or group you’d like to schedule firmware updates automatically for. 

  2. Select “More Actions” from the top toolbar. 


  3. Select “Scheduler & Triggers Command.” 


  4. Name your new command and click “Select Trigger.” 
     
  5. Select “Add New” at the bottom left. 

  6. Name your new trigger and then select “Add trigger.”  


  7. Click “Select Trigger” and choose “Timing.” 


  8. Click “Timing Type” and select “Forever.” 
    • Then, choose the date that you’d like the panels to start scanning for that firmware update, as well as the time you’d like that to occur. 
    • Under “Range Type,” select “Days of the week” and choose the day that you’d like this scan to occur.
    •  You can also choose “Days of the month” and choose the dates per month you’d like if you prefer
  9. Select Confirm.

  10. Choose the trigger you want to use (it will highlight green) and select “Add.”


  11. Choose “Select Command” and select “Firmware Update.” 



  12. Select “Confirm” to apply the command.
