RS+ Series - Passkey Reset Instructions 

Please see below for steps to reset the login passkey on a 19RS or RS+ series panel. This is useful if the passkey has been forgotten, or the user of the panel left the workplace without providing the passkey. 


  1. Tap the screen once to access the Enter passkey screen, then tap Forgot passkey.
  2. On the Reset passkey screen, enter the master passkey using the remote control, then press OK on the remote. If you do not have the master passkey, please reach out to your IT department. If you are part of your company's IT team and do not have the master passkey, submit a ticket here.
  3. Select the option to either turn off or reset the passkey. Selecting "Turn passkey off" will remove the passkey and bring you to the lock screen, where you can tap the panel to access the home screen.
  4. Selecting "Reset the passkey" will show a prompt to enter a new passkey.



Helpful tips:

  • The passkey for the RS+ can only consist of numbers (four minimum).
  • The master passkey can be entered with a remote control or USB keyboard. It cannot be entered with the touch keyboard.
  • When using the remote control, point it toward the power button for best results.
