OPS - OPS Source Displays Black Screen


If the OPS source is showing a black or a loading screen, please follow the steps below to troubleshoot the issue. 


A) Restart the panel.


B) Change EDID to 1.4.

  1. This option may or may not be available based on the model of your panel.
  2. Access the settings of the panel.
  3. Click Input and Output.
  4. Under HDMI 1/2 EDID, change the value to 1.4.
  5. Check if the issue occurs.


C) Reseat the OPS

  1. Turn off the panel.
  2. Remove the OPS from the panel and insert it back in to refresh the connection.
  3. Turn on the panel and check if the issue occurs.


D) Test with a different OPS

  1. If you have a different OPS you can test, plug the OPS into the panel and check if the issue occurs.
  2. This will help determine if the issue is with the OPS or the panel.
    • If a 2nd OPS works, then the issue is with the 1st OPS
    • If a 2nd OPS does not work, then the issue is with the panel


E) Update or reinstall the firmware on the panel using a USB thumbdrive if the issue is with the panel.
