  2. A pop-up menu will appear, select “Schedule & Trigger” from this list, in the next menu select “Add New” in the lower left-hand corner
  3. A new window will open to name the event or setting and give it a description.
    1. “Set as private” will only allow this user to see the created item
    2. “Set as read-only” will only allow the user and admins to edit the item
  4. Once the naming and description are set, click the flag icon on the left-hand side, in this menu there is a drop-down option to select a trigger.
  5. The four options for trigger
    1. Timing - will trigger an event based on time.
      1. As an example, to send a firmware update package every Friday at the end of business.
        • Select timing range “Forever”
        • A “Start Date” of when the trigger is made
        • Execution time of 17:00 (5pm in 24-hour format)
        • Range Type “Days of the week”
        • Friday for “Select days of the week”
        • Time to live will apply to a command in “pending” and how long it will remain in the queue
    2. Geofencing – will trigger an event based on location of the device,
      1. This setting is more applicable to mobile devices and may not be used as much as the others.
    3. Wi-Fi – will trigger an event based on a connection to a network
      1. This setting may be useful in more specific environments that utilize different SSID’s for technology, users, and guests.
        • For example, changing the SSID to a guest network could trigger a workflow to block some of the applications on the device.
    4. Startup – trigger an event based on when the panel powers on
      1. For example, when the panel is powered on and connected to the network, a workflow can be automated to run
  6. Click confirm in the bottom right to finish making the trigger
