NDM - How to Install Certificates


Deploying certificates is important for web filtering, VPN authentications and many other use cases. You may use the settings repository to deploy as many certificates to as many devices at once.

In order to send a certificate, first obtain the certificate file and copy the text context.


Here is an example of a certificate body

How to create and apply a certificate setting repository


1. In the management portal, select one or multiple panels you want to install the certificate on.

2. Click Device Setting. A new window for the Device settings will appear. There will be several default templates you can use as a guide line.

3. To create a new device setting repository, click Add new.


4. Add a name for your device setting repository.

5. Click to view the Install CA Certificate option.

6. Enable the toggle for Install certificate.

7. Select the correct certificate type: User trusted credentials, user wifi CA certificate, and VPN and apps certificate.

8. Paste the certificate body into certificate body.

9. Click Confirm to save.

10. Select the device setting repository you created and click Apply to send the certificates to the panels.
