NDM - Tags Overview
Tags are labels or keywords that are used to categorize the panels making it easier to manage, search, and organize.
Tags can be used for many things in NDM such as:
1. It can be used to search specific panels that has the same tag.
2. Assign a tag to a sub user so the user can only manage panels with the same tag.
3. Create a group and assign a tag to it. Any panels that has the same tag as the group will automatically be added to that group.
4. Send a command such as a message to panels that only include X tag.
How the tags are named is up to you, but here are a few examples.
ES - Elementary School
MS - Middle School
HS - High School
JohnDoeES - John Doe Elementary School
Building1 - Building 1
Conf - Conference Room
How to add tags
1. In the management portal, select one or multiple panels.
2. Click More actions and then select Tags.
3. Type the tag and then click Enter.
4. Afterwards, click Confirm to save.
5. The same can be done to delete a tag. From the picture above, you can click the X icon next to a tag to delete it.
