NDM - How to Reset Authentication Token


In the event a factory reset or a firmware reinstall are performed on the panel, an authentication token reset will be required to re-enroll the panel back to your Newline Display Management account. After a reset authentication token, the panel will need to be added back to your account by going to the panel.

There are two methods to reset the authentication token for the panel.


Method 1

1. On the management portal, locate the panel and you will see an orange triangle with an exclamation mark. This icon indicates the panel requires an authentication reset.

2. Click the orange triangle.


3. Select Reset auth token.



Method 2

1. On the management portal, locate the panel and select the hardware ID of the panel to bring up the mini dashboard.

2. Click Manage and then select Reset auth token.

3. Click Reset auth token again.
