When the computer is in extended mode, it will not be able to register which monitor is a touch screen. Therefore, a short setup is required to have the computer recognize the screen that has touch-enabled.


1. To get started, open the Control Panel and select Tablet PC Settings. If you do not see Tablet PC settings, please make sure the View by is set to either Large or Small icons.

2. Or, hit the Windows key and type: calibrate and select the “Calibrate the screen for pen or touch input” result at the top.

3. Under Display, click the drop-down menu and select the interactive display. Depending on the model, it states Mstar demo, HHT-display, Newline, or IFP display.

4, Click Setup. 

5. Click Touch Input.

6. You will see a white screen with a set of instructions. Follow the instruction by clicking Enter to move the instructions towards the touch screen panel. Once the instructions are on the touch screen panel, tap the screen 2-3 times to register the touch and when registered, it will take you back to the Windows desktop.
